FROM OUR PRESIDENT:

Reminder to everyone: the Warm Up Picnic is Sept. 10th at Island Park (North end of Winfield.)  We hope you can come and help  with this event, and have fun while you work.  Remember the best advertisement we have is you, so invite your friends and neighbors.  We have received some special raffle donations along with 3 instruments that some lucky persons will take home.  We also have a good line up of workshop leaders.

Registration will start at 8:30 with the first set of workshops starting at 10:00 a.m., and the second set starting at 1:00 p.m..  We will have lunch on site:  Sloppy Joes, potato chips, pickle and a cookie for a mere $3.00.

Potluck Supper at 5:15 - bring something to share.  Concert will start at 6:00 p.m.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Editor's Bit of Filler Fluff:
I just want to (re)encourage everyone to come on down to the Warm-Up Picnic.  The slate of workshop leaders is super, and the variety of instruments being taught has never been more extensive, to my knowledge.   It's our club's outreach to the whole of south central Kansas and also the festival community and its attendees from far and wide.  So put on your yellow shirt and come on down for a great day!!
